Terms of Service
Last updated 7 September 2026
These terms cover your use of Sasquatch Privacy, operated by Saasquatch Labs LLC.
What the service does
We visit websites you ask us to visit and report what they technically do — which third parties they contact, what cookies and storage they create, and how that changes across consent states and privacy signals.
This is not legal advice
Sasquatch Privacy provides technical privacy observations and is not legal advice. Our findings describe observed technical behaviour. They are written as observations — “detected”, “observed”, “review recommended” — and never as legal conclusions. Whether any observation creates a legal obligation for you depends on your jurisdiction, your business and facts we cannot see. Consult qualified counsel.
Scanning is also a point-in-time observation. A site that scanned cleanly on Tuesday can load a new tag on Wednesday. That is the reason monitoring exists, and it is not a guarantee either.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use the service to:
- Overload, disrupt or degrade any website, including through repeated or automated scanning.
- Circumvent authentication, access controls, rate limits or other technical protections on any site.
- Scan systems you are not permitted to test.
- Harass any person or organisation.
- Resell raw scan output as though it were your own product.
Deep crawls, scheduled monitoring and stored history require verified control of the domain. We may rate-limit, suspend or refuse scans that appear abusive.
Your account
You are responsible for activity under your account and for the accuracy of the domains you claim. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
Payment, renewal and cancellation
- One-time audits are charged once, at purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled, at the interval shown when you subscribed.
- You can cancel at any time from your billing settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period; we do not require a phone call or make you argue with a retention screen.
- If a payment fails we will retry and tell you. Persistent failure suspends access rather than deleting your history immediately.
Your data
Scan results belong to you. You may export or delete them. Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.
Availability
We aim to keep the service running and will not pretend it is infallible. The service is provided as is, without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Ending the agreement
You can stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or end an account that breaks these terms, and will explain why unless doing so would be unlawful.
